Short version: WatchZ is a static website. We have no accounts, no logins, no comments, and no forms that collect your information. We don't collect, store, or sell personal data — because there's nothing here that asks for it.
What we don't collect
- No accounts or profiles — there is nothing to sign up for.
- No contact forms — if you email us, that's between you and your email provider.
- No purchase data — when you click a "Check current price" link you leave our site, and the retailer's own privacy policy applies from there.
Analytics
We may use Google Analytics to understand which guides are popular. Analytics is currently disabled on this site (our analytics snippet ships with a placeholder ID and does nothing until it's configured). If enabled in the future, it would use cookies to collect aggregated, anonymized usage statistics. You can block this with any standard ad or tracker blocker.
Advertising
We may display ads (for example via Google AdSense) in clearly marked ad slots. Ad providers may use cookies to serve and measure ads, including interest-based advertising. You can opt out of personalized advertising through the ad provider's settings or your browser's cookie controls.
Affiliate links
Our "Check current price" buttons are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer may set cookies to attribute any purchase to us — that's how we earn commissions. See our affiliate disclosure for details.
